Please help RBARI’s Kitten Fund bridge the life-saving gap this kitten season!
The kittens and mother cats rescued by RBARI come from crowded animal control or the streets. Their eyes are sealed shut, blind and helpless, their breathing labored, they are covered in fleas and maggots, they are hungry and filled with parasites. And, they need us – all of us – to join together to save them.
The sheer number of kittens and mother cats in need creates a situation of endless need. They have been exposed to illnesses, parasites and viruses. NONE have had medical care prior to entering through our doors. More times than not, they are critically ill with upper respiratory infections, viruses, parasites and more serious illness and injury requiring complicated and long-term medical care.
At RBARI, our medical expenses during kitten season more than double. The goal of our fund is to rescue even more kittens and mother cats within our community and provide them with medical care, rescue relief and forever homes, as we raise support for the following needs:
- Emergency medical care for those critically ill
- Bottle and syringe feeding supplies
- Vaccinations
- Deworming and Fecals
- Microchipping
- Feline AIDS (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV) testing
- Daily care for kittens from birth to 8 weeks old
- Spay/Neuter surgeries for every cat rescued, including mothers
Alone, suffering and helpless, countless kittens and mother cats are relying on you for a chance at survival. Please consider a donation towards RBARI’s Kitten Fund. Together we can turn this kitten season around and change the outcome for these tiny, helpless souls desperate for help.
